Biggest Estee Lauder giveaway ever

Friday, July 16th, 2010

Estee Lauder will give away a 10-day supply of its new Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex or Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex (I could take it seriously without the long name) on Thursday, July 22 from 5 to 9 p.m. They’re calling it “America’s Night to Repair.” The beauty company will distribute 360,000 of the deluxe samples at Estee Lauder counters nationwide. If last year was any indication, there won’t be any leftovers. The highly touted products are said to repair skin damage and erase signs of aging. The new formula is targeted specifically for the delicate eye area. Advanced Night Repair sells for $47.50 to $49.50. Bring your girlfriends – just one sample per customer while supplies last.

FREE Estee Lauder Night Repair

Friday, July 17th, 2009

Esteenightrepair Plan to swing by an Estee Lauder counter – anywhere, nationwide – from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 23 for a free seven-day sample of the New Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex (you'll be required to recite that name three times, fast. kidding, but really – do they think a longer name makes it sound more important?). Estee Lauder will hand out 250,000 samples of this longtime favorite, which has been reworked with something called Chronolux Technology to protect the skin and repair visible damage. A 1-ounce jar of the new cream will sell for $47.50.

Free cosmetics!

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

It's true: on Tuesday, Jan. 20, some of the biggest cosmetics counters at department stores will be giving away $175 million in products. It's part of the settlement in a class action lawsuit in which consumers claimed beauty manufacturers were fixing prices (think about it: makeup virtually never goes on sale). Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, Coty perfumes, Clarins, Chanel and Christian Dior are among the manufacturers named in the suit. They will each give away an allotment of product – such as a 6.7 oz Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker shower gel or a 15 ml Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair  – at major department stores across the country including Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Herbeger's, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. All you have to do is walk up and ask. Technically, you are eligible if you made a purchase between May 29, 1994 through July 16, 2003, but no proof is necessary. The products will be given away on a first come first serve basis. Don't expect them to last long! For more details, click here.
