Peep of spring

February 12th, 2010
by Allison Kaplan

Peeptoeboot Schedule that pedicure a bit earlier this year – peep toe boots are big for spring. Anything's possible after the shoe-bootie, right? And while the peep toe boot seems destined for a short season between slushy streets and oppressive heat, it is the ultimate in transitional wardrobing, for those frustrating weeks when nothing looks quite right. This one, in a grayish-tan suede by Bettye Muller, is now on the shelves at Pumpz & Company at the Galleria in Edina. (Warning: it's $525. The trend's got to start somewhere.)

I’ve had a pair of open toed boots for two years after my mom spotted them at La Rue Marche in Hudson and made me come see them. So glad that they are both so fashion forward!

  2. Deborah Klein says:

The ultimate in “let them eat cake” couture. Admittedly they look tres cool, but they are, in the end, a pretty useless item of clothing. And expensive.

  3. Lynn says:

I love this peep toe boot! This particular style looks like it might fit a 9.5, too. (Ali, can you share the brand and where to buy)? Much better than the shoe-boot, which I refused to consider! :)
