Oh my.
St. Paul Pioneer Press photographer Chris Polydoroff took a lot of fantastic photos at the Beyonce concert last night, but none quiet as, shall we say, spellbinding as this one, captured outside the Target Center.
Where, oh where to begin?
How about with applause for confidence. These ladies tried. They wanted to show their sexy. They showed that...and a few too many other things.
Hold the giggles. There's a perfectly reasonable explanation for this situation. Stylists tell us again and again, on every cable channel, that hiding our curves only makes us look bigger.
This is a fashion lesson taken too literally. Clothes should fit. Yes, not too big. But not too small either. Leave a little something to the imagination. Times two.
Did the photographer have these women's permission to publish this? I know you can't see their faces, but people they know may still recognize them, and it must be pretty humiliating to be singled out this way as a "fashion don't." I know you stated, quite fairly, that we should "hold the giggles," but by publishing this photo this way you're exposing these women to a lot of snickering ridicule.

Wow, this picture and article is highly inappropriate. If I were these two ladies I would contact the PP and give them a piece of my mind. How dare you take a photo of someone from behind and then write about their weight and clothing choices.
Where are the photos and articles about thinner women who were dressed like tramps...revealing way too much.
