Woullet bakery had wedding fever today – the new downtown Minneapolis location had sold four of these chocolate Will & Kate cakes by lunchtime. Other treats they’re churning out for the royal nuptials include blueberry and lemon scones crowned with frosting and cupcakes featuring a likeness of soon-to-be Princess Catherine’s engagement ring:

When your viewing party ends, take the celebrate to Pumpz & Company at the Galleria, which will be serving tea and cake from 10 to 4 p.m. Friday – and highlighting Mulberry bags from London.

Cool boots – now, and later

Love these Sigerson Morrison suede peep toe ankle boots from Pumpz & Co – shown today on Twin Cities Live: That’s Sharon Allemong – when she’s not modeling on TV, she runs Insite Interiors and the Sale Room @ IMS. She made a Classiques Entier dress from Nordstrom look hip and season-appropriate by layering a thin turtleneck underneath and adding a belted jacket by the same brand on top. Peel it apart and she can take the pieces into spring. Even the boots (which are $350), which would look great without tights too. Peep of spring

Peeptoeboot Schedule that pedicure a bit earlier this year – peep toe boots are big for spring. Anything's possible after the shoe-bootie, right? And while the peep toe boot seems destined for a short season between slushy streets and oppressive heat, it is the ultimate in transitional wardrobing, for those frustrating weeks when nothing looks quite right. This one, in a grayish-tan suede by Bettye Muller, is now on the shelves at Pumpz & Company at the Galleria in Edina. (Warning: it's $525. The trend's got to start somewhere.)
